You may practice your Man Overboard (MOB) sailing technique, but when was the last time that you and your crew used the lifesling? In this comprehensive class, Captain Margaret Pommert will explain and demonstrate how to use this safety device and then coach at the dock while you continue onto your sailboat to practice your skills.

Captain Margaret Pommert of Seattle has been an instructor since 2004, teaching both adults and children, in dinghies and keelboats. She is the V.P. for Safety at Sea for The Sailing Foundation, the developer of the Lifesling. She is a certified instructor with both the American Sailing Association and U.S. Sailing, and holds a U.S. Coast Guard Master Captains License in Power, Sail, and Towing.
