Tacoma Yacht Club’s Daffodil Weekend is rapidly approaching. This year’s theme is “Boating Locally”.

Schedule:

On Friday afternoon from 2-4 PM join us on the TYC deck for beer and appetizers (while supplies last). There will be a selection process on Friday night at 7 PM for trivia seating and your placement in the Token Parade. At 7:30 PM join us for “An Old Fashion Hoe-Down” themed party featuring music and dancing to DJ Ric Hansen with  “Radio Parties“.
 
TRIVIA – One of the highlights of the weekend is the Trivia Token Parade on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 PM followed by a Pub-Style Trivia Contest from 2-4 PM.​Saturday night there is a dinner buffet from 5:30 – 8:00 PM followed by music and dancing with DJ Ric Hansen with “Radio Parties”.

Sunday the weekend will culminate with the Decorated Boat Parade along Tacoma waterfront. We are looking forward to seeing your creative efforts!

Daffy Cards, Daffy charge cards will be issued to any visitors wanting to use the clubhouse restaurant or bar during the 2025 Daffodil Festival. TYC members can use their TYC membership number.

*NEW* Festival Entrance Fee, to keep the quality and enjoyment of Daffodil Weekend, we have decided to implement a nominal entrance fee of $10 per person for everyone over 18 (50% off entry fee with pre-registration). This small contribution covers the whole weekend and will help us provide happy hour on Friday afternoon, along with fun and lively entertainment on both Friday and Saturday evenings, and of course the exciting and a bit rowdy pub-style trivia game. When you register your Boat or RV, you will get two free entrance wrist bands. We appreciate your understanding and support as we continue to elevate your experience at TYC. Club, Boat and RV Registration, each club must register and each boat or RV planning on attending must complete a registration form and pay the registration fee ($20 non-refundable). The registration deadline is March 21, 2025 or until we reach our limit. If you have questions, please refer to our website or email Bentley Rickmers at: tycdaffodil@gmail.com. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate any boats over 65′ in length. You will get two free entrance bracelets with your Boat or RV registration, so there is no need to pre-register for entrance bracelets. But you will still need to pre-register for a Daffy Charge Card. Click here
